Nortura, Tønsberg recovers waste energy from screw compressors

The hybrid heat pump at Nortura, Tønsberg has a similar design as the system at Rudshøgda and produces hot tap water at 83 degrees C to a 141 m3 large storage tank. The system was started in spring 2009 and saves energy and running cost in addition to improve access to hot water in the meat factory.
